Thanos, transliterated as Thanos, is a super villain under Marvel Comics in the United States. He first appeared in issue 55 of Iron Man (January 1973) and is a member of the Eternal Clan born on Titan. He is extremely powerful, possessing unparalleled strength, endurance, resilience, and agility. His skin is almost indestructible, especially when fighting against cold, heat, electricity, radiation, toxicity, aging, and disease. Before he was cursed to eternal life by his crush, the goddess of death, he could survive without eating anything.
